Speak Right To My Heart

Pictures from day 2 at Sale starts right.... here!

Enjoy!

In the morning of our second day, I woke up to birds chirping. I was instantly reminded of my house back in Malaysia; crickets that lulled me to sleep and the chirps that gently woke me up in the morning. It was such a change from living in Melbourne city where I normally wake up to the clanging of pots and pans, or even worse, angry drivers who aren't afraid to use their honks. Boy do I miss Malaysia.

We had the Australian style of bread and eggs with coffee for breakfast. Mmmmmmm. After breakfast, we were on our way to start our journey for day 2.

Mom standing with one of the fruit trees right outside Ron and Pauline's house.
They have all kinds of fruit trees. Apple, orange, mandarin, lemon, pumpkin, etc..
you name it, they have it. haha.

The wetland in front of their house.
Sometimes during summer, this land will be completely dry.
If I'm not mistaken, I think those are horses. lol

Ron made a short stop to show us his friend!

Our shy little friend that didn't want to show himself.

Dad being very hyped up about our road trip for the day.

Billy billy billy goats! :)

When I took this picture, they were just staring at me. Yknow that stare.. sort of like,
"Who's that hot, sexy mama?" kinda stare. ;)

We went super far into the suburbs.
People who lived there had to collect their letters and parcels here because the delivery of letters only go so far. Haha.

At Paynesville.

This is a floating cubicle that's attached to someone's floating house!

Here's dad on a ferry
Took a ferry from Paynesville to Raymond Island

The ferry ride lasted about 5 minutes and it costs $10 AUD
-.-

At Raymond Island, we were on a koala bear hunt.
Mom spotted the first one and a billion more.
I spotted one attempting to do chin-ups. Haha! Amazingly cute animals.
I remember my friend, Derrick and I Google-ed the laziest animals one night and guess what?
Koala Bears were the laziest. Who would've guessed right?

We then took the ferry back to Paynesville and had fish and chips for lunch.
More like shark and chips.
but it was super yummy.
I WANT ME SOME POTATO CAKES!
We had uninvited guests at our picnic there; Mrs Swan and a bunch of annoyingly loud seagulls.

Ron and Pauline then drove us to Metung to see the new house they purchased.
The land's only AN ACRE BIG!
Oh damnz yo!
I can't imagine how massive their house is going to be once they're done renovating it.

On our way out from Metung to Lakes Entrance

Had my dose of hot chocolate.

At Lakes Entrance

Mom and her lavender flowers.
Most calming scent ever!
I'm so in love with it.

Dad and Ron standing on water.

lol.

Got a picture with Pauline; with dad in the background.

The bridge that connects the mainland and the Lakes Entrance beach

Mom and Dad
Caught the sunset on our way home.
Not a very good shot of the sun actually. :(

We had fish for dinner
Ron caught these fishes himself.

After dinner, Ron and Pauline took us on a mini tour in their lounge room.

Ron showed me this picture of a cabinet that they bought many years ago.
It was old, antique and they absolutely loved it.
They took it home and made this.....

Would you look at that!
Both Ron and Pauline slowly restored the cabinet and made it so beautiful!
The extra shelf above was carved by Ron.

Oh! Here's something incredibly cool.
This is a pianola. This pianola was passed down from generation to generation in Ron's family and it's about 100+ years old.

Scrolls like these have holes in it (sort of like Braille) and are placed into the pianola.

AND IT PLAYS BY ITSELF!

All you have to do is pump the pedals at the bottom and it plays wonderful music!

And so that was how our second day ended.

Alrighty then. I think that's about it for the second day at Sale. And as usual, stay tuned for day 3. ;)

See you guys soon! Good night! :)
